Web Accessibility Training
Web accessibility ensures that all people can perceive, understand,
navigate, and interact with the Web, and that they can contribute
to the Web.
Web accessibility standards are important for users who may have
disabilities, and as our population ages, the importance of web
accessibility continues to grow. In addition to making smart business
sense, ensuring that you can reach any customer who comes across
your website, state
and federal laws mandating web accessibility for government
agencies and organizations that receive government funding have
recently been enacted.
In 2003, New Horizons of Austin began working with
Knowbility, a nationally recognized non-profit agency dedicated
to supporting the independence of children and adults with disabilities
by promoting the use and improving the availability of accessible
information technology. Through this partnership, we are able to
offer a suite of Web Accessibility training classes to our private
and public clients.
